BFF’s Shannon and Brianna wanted their senior pictures to be fun and different. We met in Boulder and moseyed around town looking for fun little nooks to shoot. With a car full of clothes and lots of support, you guys rocked this session! Here’s a few of my favs from the afternoon.
My friend Debra invited our family to tour Berry Patch Farm up in Brighten with their home school group today. I have SO much proofing that needs to be finished that I almost declined. But then I remembered the feeling I had last year at the end of summer. I was so disappointed that I had forgot my priorities and as the cold set in I was longing to have a warm sunny day to take my kids to the pool or the berry patch. This year I vowed that I needed a healthy balance between my work and my family. I vowed to work very hard, as always but also to play very hard and enjoy every minute I could of the ever too short, Colorado summer with my kids. So, I said yes, we would come and I’m so glad I did.
Maiza turns 8 next week!
Julian enjoyed his strawberries right on the spot.

Okay, so Julian was way more labor than the actual picking of strawberries but my kids had a blast and my prayer is that they will remember mommy spending quality with them way more than they remember me in front of a laptop.
For those of you anxiously waiting for your images, tomorrow is my BIG WORK DAY and I’ll be catching up on a ton of proofing so thanks for hanging in there one more day!

Noy and I had another amazing wedding to shoot yesterday. Haley has been living in Australia the past three years while in school and Jason serves in the Army. So, Haley’s mom Leslie put almost the whole wedding together herself and might I add, she did a fabulous job!
Venue: Three Trees Chapel
Florist: the brilliant Kim Porter of The Butler’s Pantry
Reception Venue: Pinehurst Country Club
DJ: John and Cameron of Jammin’ D.J.’s who kept the party hopping all night.

Noy and I met up with Lauren and Patrick at the REI next to Confluence Park. I love that place. I want to go back to hang all day. I love Lauren and Patrick too! I predict a long, happy life together for these two…you can just tell they were made for each other!
About three minutes after we started the shoot, the sky opened so we hung out in Starbucks for a bit.
