We started Jason and Anna’s e-session at their fabulous downtown Denver loft with amazing views of the city. Then we headed over to The Brown Palace for some final shots. Jason and Anna will be married at the beautiful Westminster Westin in July.

I’m thrilled to announce that with 108 LIKES, Jenna and Travis are the winners of a 20×24 canvas of the following image! It’s not everyday I get to photograph from a speed boat on a lake in Canada, so I’m pretty happy for this crazy couple! Thank you Jenna and Travis for all of your hospitality to Noy and I and for allowing us the opportunity to get to know you and your families and experience Aylen Lake!

As you may have guessed, pictures are a HUGE part of my life! I always encourage my friends to tell the story of their lives in pictures–and I honestly try to practice what I preach:)

I document our lives in photos throughout the year–the big events as well as the small in between moments (sometimes these tiny moments–the times where nothing is really going on–often turn out to be the most cherished of all). Then at the end of the year I put all these pics together in an album that I create online. This ensures that my pics don’t end up on a disc somewhere lost around the house–like in our “drawer of no return” (you have one of those, right?!?!) because that’s almost as bad as never having had the pics in the first place! I have done this for the past seven years, and these albums are some of my most-prized possessions. I don’t always use my “fancy” camera either. I have a point and shoot in my purse at all times and well, let’s be honest, my iPhone photos are often some of my favs!

We also have professional pictures of our family taken every year. This is my gift to myself. Let me introduce you to my family–some of you may already know them, but for you who may be new around here these people are my life blood–my happiness:)

To say that my life changed completely eight years ago would be the largest understatement ever. Not only did I take a huge leap of faith and quit my corporate job of nearly 10 years to start my business, I gave birth to my second daughter, Bella Katherine. Bella was a momma’s girl from the minute she was born and cried for the first four months of her life. You may think I’m exaggerating but I am not lying when I say Noy and I wanted to jump off the nearest bridge on more than one occassion due to the constant crying of this sweet, darling child. But things eventually turned around and ever since those hard days and nights, Bella has been such a joy to our family. She is smart, funny, athletic, easily makes friends and succeeds at everything she tries. She is such a girly girl and I love it! I know she will go far in life and I am honored to be her mom!

Happy Birthday Bella Kate! You are my sunshine!

New Facebook Page and Contest Time!

Noy has been on my case for about a year now. Seriously, he doesn’t let up! He’s been hounding me to create a Facebook page for my business. I understand the whole social media thing is the wave of now but I HATE asking people to “like” me. It sounds desperate, pretentious and well, lame. Besides that what if no one likes my page? I hate rejection! I was the nerdy girl in school. You know, the kind with straight A’s, glasses and zero shape to her entire body. I hated games like red rover and sports that the “captains” took turns choosing their team. I was always one of the last to be chosen…not the very last…but one of the last because I had ZERO athletic ability. They let me play volleyball for awhile because I went to a small school and the coaches felt sorry for me. But in all seriousness people, I hate this whole idea of rejection!

But I caved.

Finally.

And I still hate the thought that not enough people will “like” me but I’m putting myself out there anyway…for the good of my business. So, thanks to Noy, please go check out my new Facebook page. It would mean the world to both of us!
