For me, there is nothing better than summers in Colorado. I love it. I love the smell of the breeze, the flowers, the sunscreen, the barbeque, the outdoor market and having a reason to make lemonade. There is just something about summer that makes me happy from head to toe. Maybe it’s getting to spend all day at the pool or at the zoo or just reading a book to the girls in the grass. I think the best part after being tucked away all winter is opening the windows and letting summer inside.
Yesterday, thanks to our friends Neil and Jill, we enjoyed the warm summer afternoon on Chatfield Reservoir on their beautiful boat. It was the kids’ first time on a boat (except for the big boat leaving Disney World which doesn’t really count I don’t think) and they were pretty sure they were not going to enjoy it. It took about two minutes for them to realize they were actually going to have a good time. What an amazing afternoon of boating, tubing, sunning and enjoying the views. Thanks Neil and Jill for inviting us along! We had a blast!

Judge? I showed everyone around me at work today and they not only complimented on how fabulous everyone looked but that the colors were spectacular! Awesome pics

Spectacular photos and colors. The one of all the boats looks like it could be blown up and hung on a wall, or made into a post card. Unbelieveable! How I miss Colorado, and I miss water in general!
